A grand antique Victorian Albert chain made up of solid 9ct yellow gold paper clip links which are stamped “375/ 9ct” and have developed a rosy patina with age.
It’s fitted with two claw clasps at the end and a T-bar at the bottom which bears different maker’s initials indicating it may have been added to the piece later.
It’s a strong, durable chain and has a good, heavy weight to it. It can be worn as a traditional Albert or as a necklace if preferred.
We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
