The Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610LV was first introduced in 2003 by Rolex at Baselworld to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Submariner. The 16610LV is also sometimes referred to as the "Kermit" which differentiates itself from the more modern Rolex Ref. 116610LV also known as the "Hulk" via the Black "MAXI" dial as opposed to the green dial of the "Hulk) and nonceramic green bezel insert.
The main difference when comparing the Rolex (Ref.16610LV) to the standard Rolex Submariner Date (Ref.16610) is the obvious green bezel insert and the oversized Super LumiNova filled indexes, this dial configuration is comely referred to as the "MAXI" dial.
Both the Rolex (Ref. 16610LV) and Rolex (Ref. 16610) have a water resistance rating of 300M/1000ft and are made from 904L stainless steel. Both references come equipped with the modern Trip-Lock crown and Rolex 93250 oyster flip lock bracelets with solid end links. Even though the Rolex Ref. 16610LV is just a few years old it has been discovered that there are 5 dial variants and 2 green bezel variants that are found on the LV references. The Rolex Ref. 16610LV that Craft & Tailored is showing is the MK 5 dial variant and contains the "Slim" 4 Bezel insert.
This is a truly stunning modern Submariner that is sure to be a collector's item. The 16610LV contains that special element not typically found in more modern timepieces that really separate it from all of the more modern or common Rolex Submariners typically seen on the wrist.

CASE & BRACELET
The case of this 16610LV retains the original factory finish and has not been polished The original solid end link Rolex flip lock 93250 oyster bracelet retains all of its original links and shows no stretch.
DIAL
The Mark 5 variant, "Maxi" dial is in pristine and original condition showing zero signs of wear. The white gold Super-LumiNova filled markers hold an intense glow as they should and really pop off of the gloss black dial. The serial number is engraved into the 6 o'clock position of the inner retaining ring as is the word Rolex which surrounds the dial.

None. The watch was recently serviced and is running at COSC spec.
